well, come was an arts installation commissioned by UKR and implemented on the site of SAZ’s steel processing and distribution plant. It slotted seamlessly into the process of loading and unloading.
well, come took the visitors on a journey to an unknown space playing with their senses on multiple levels. Being transported in a container-like structure attached to a crane above water exposed to noise and weather triggered thoughts of uncertainty and anxiousness. While a sound piece by artist, musician and psychologist Florian Kaplick intensified the emotions, an animation streamed on 6 TV’s installed in the space showed a factual story about the relation of current and historical streams.
Well, come made visitors think and feel about an apparent paradox: Global movement has never been so easy and important but at the same time the tendency of protectionism and nationalism is increasing dramtically.
